I was on my way to my first Japanese wedding! (Probably shouldn't have had those last few glasses of Cava and missed the last train the night before though...) The dress code was 'colourful'. So sweet! I wore this necklace and bag with a green silk Gorman dress and some suede magenta bow pumps. Gosh, I hope I didn't go overboard on the dress code. Hah!

  1. such a great post, from start to finish, but I must admit, when i saw the pen you're using in that photo with your computer and desk, I nearly squeaked. it's silly to squeak about a pen, but holy moly those pens are the BEST!!! They're all I used when I lived in Japan and I miss them every time I have to use an australian (*cough* inferior*cough*) pen.

enjoy Japan you lucky Sandwhich :) xx

    1. Hi Linda, Oh hah I thought those were available everywhere, no? I like the 0.3 type in navy the best. Kinokuniya must stock them next time you're in Sydney. Or what about Magnation? Hope all is well in Melbourne. Did you visit the new Harvest workroom yet?

    1. Thanks Cathy! Oh dear, I did not think the 4am idea was fun the day after, let me tell you that. Silly Sandwich! I will try and dig up a pic of the whole outfit! Miss you xoxo

  3. Great post. I have that same eyelet punch and I was wondering how you were able to use it as an edger instead of making "ribbon" or did you just use a different punch?

    1. Hello! Oh that's great you have that Martha Stewart Punch! They are great aren't they. Actually (and it's cropped out in this shot) but this one is one of the new 'two in one' punches that does both a ribbon and an edge using a small switch on the part that's cropped out. They are fantastic and I highly recommend!

You can see it if you scroll down here:

      Hope that helps!
